WORDMARK DESIGN — 2023
Gather is a digital platform designed to bring people together through community, rituals, and shared experiences. Developed by the team at Gather, the platform needed a brand identity that could communicate movement, connection, and care.
As a freelance designer collaborating with Dotdotdash, I was invited to develop the isologotype for the project. Our goal was to create a wordmark that embodied the values of guidance, intention, and flow.
The final result is a handcrafted mark rooted in geometry and rhythm—formed from lines of varying width, it suggests motion and pathfinding, while remaining approachable and modern. The custom letterforms strike a balance between softness and structure, reflecting the human warmth and clarity that define Gather’s mission.
