As Design Director at R/GA, I led the creation of the visual identity system for the 2019 launch of Chile’s national football team kit.
The concept was rooted in the iconography of the Mapuche people, reimagined through Nike’s visual language. At its core was the idea of mixture and unity — a collective force moving forward. This came to life through gradient blends that visually expressed that fusion: tradition and modernity, individuality and teamwork, history and performance.
The result was a bold, rhythmic identity where symbolic patterns and blended colors echo a country’s strength in coming together — honouring Chile’s roots while moving confidently into the future.
